Cederberg, South Africa

Our massive days of travelling are coming to an end. A shortish drive into the Cederberg mountains today and into one of South Africa's wine regions. More and more vines are showing up on the landscape now.
We stop in at the town of Springbok. It's quite large and pretty busy. We look for a Bureau de Change to convert some US dollars. The line is large and we have learned that things move very slow in Africa, so we bail out for Nando's instead.
There are many market stalls up in Springbok, all selling the same stuff - fake soccer and rugby shirts. Jeff goes on a mission and returns will a Kaiser Chiefs top of questionable quality and a South African flag buff (Courts is now set for African Survivor).
We head to the supermarket for some meds for Jeff's elbow (trying anything at this stage).
We arrive at our campsite which is actually a beautiful winery called Highlanders. We are treated to lush grass to roll our tent out on and views of the vineyard and background mountains. This is our last night under the stars.
We play with the resident dog, Ben, a massive Ridgeback and the many cats before having lunch.
We have a wine tasting session run by the owner, Sparky. A couple of decent wines in there but nothing to write home about (looks like we're wine snobs now).
Our last campfire and special one at that. Another awesome braai with the toasted sandwiches, broer and steaks and a glass of wine. The stars are out in full force. What a way to finish the hard camping life.
